EMBA 511 Statistics for Business This course introduces the statistical techniques used in business for the analysis of practical problems. It provides information on summarizing and presenting statistical information, that constitutes an important element of contemporary decision-making. The interpretation of data is also considered, along with the forming and testing of hypotheses and the ways these might be used to support decision-making. Topics, such as regression, which may help decision-making by inferring causal relationships and generating forecasts based on these relationships are also considered in depth.
